Ms. Zamd, an attorney from the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices (OSC) will give a training on the anti-discrimination provision of the INA. The attorney will educate participants on the law OSC enforces (8 U.S.C. § 1324b), and will discuss issues, such as E-Verify and Social Security number “no-match.” Ms. Zamd will also describe the extensive resources available for employers and their representatives. Ms. Zamd encourages people familiar with HR practices to attend and ask questions. However, no prior background is necessary.
