FGCU Florida Small Business Development Center Hosts Series of Workshops

FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) will host a series of workshops June 15 – 19.  The workshops will cover topics including business management, cash management, social media trends and marketing.   

Wednesday, June 17 – “Stupid Stuff We Need to Know” is a business management workshop to be held at the Liles Hotel, 27300 Old US 41, Bonita Springs, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $10 per person.  

Wednesday, June 17 – “Profitability versus Cash Flow” is part of an after-hours cash management workshop series hosted at Iberia Bank, 775 Airport Road North, Naples, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. This is a no-cost workshop made possible with the support of Iberia Bank.

Thursday, June 18 – “Social Media Trends in 2015” is part of the Small Business Resource Network (SBRN) lunch series to be held at Connors Steak and Seafood, 10076 Gulf Center Drive, Fort Myers, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Cost is $30 for non-members and $20 for members. 

Friday, June 19 – “How Do I Market My Company?” is a marketing workshop to be held at the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce, 2702 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $30 per person.
