The Florida SBDC at Florida Gulf Coast University to Host Inaugural Access to Technology Fair

Fort Myers, Fla. – The Florida SBDC (FSBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) will host its Inaugural Access to Technology Fair on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Holiday Inn, Fort Myers Airport, 9931 Interstate Commerce Dr., Fort Myers. The event is no cost and businesses will have the opportunity to meet with technology specialists, and find out more about both goods and services they offer within the SW Florida Region. Participants will learn about new and upcoming technology solutions for their business.


A light breakfast and refreshments will be provided. Additionally, through the co-sponsorship of Microsoft there will be ample drawings with door prizes during the tradeshow, prizes including copies of Microsoft Office 365 and other tech gadgets. Kathy Durfee and Alex Melching with TechHouse, a Microsoft Partner, will be presenting “Moving to the Microsoft Office Cloud: Office, Web Meetings, Backups, Security and More…”


Sponsorships are still available for technology based businesses, starting as low as $175 to have a table at the event. For participants, space is limited, please register early either online today or register by phone (239) 745-3700.

The FSBDC at FGCU offers one-on-one, confidential, no-cost consulting and low-cost workshops for businesses throughout Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry, and Glades counties. It is designated by the state as Florida’s principal provider of business assistance.
