Florida SBDC at FGCU Government Contracting Workshop Series Starting this Friday, October 6, 2017

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) is hosting a 3-week workshop to show businesses how to they can expand their business by obtaining government contract opportunities.

The U.S. federal government is the world’s largest single buyer of products and services and the law requires that 23% of their  annual funds be allocated to small businesses.

That means there’s a huge opportunity for your small business to leverage this profit center.

Dan Telep, Government Contract Specialist with PTAC is retired contracting officer who knows everything A-Z about government contracts.

He will walk business owners or their support staff through the steps of registration, research, understanding, and responding to request for proposals and how to create an award winning bid for government contracts.

The workshop will take place at Career Source SWFL, 4150 Ford Street Extension, Fort Myers, FL 33916, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Fridays, October 6, 13, and 20.
