The Florida SBDC at Florida Gulf Coast University is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide service network of more than 40 centers hosted by the state’s leading universities, colleges, and economic development organizations. As part of the network’s service offering, the Florida SBDC provides aspiring and existing small businesses with the expertise, resources, and tools to grow and succeed.

In 2016, the Florida SBDC created, retained and saved 2,332 jobs. Generated $224.6M in sales. Acquired $3.6M in Government Contracts and garnered $72.8M in Capital access.
