Judges Announced for 2018 Distinguished Entrepreneur Award of Southwest Florida

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Small Business Development Center (FSBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) is proud to announce the judges for the 7th Annual Distinguished Entrepreneur of SWFL Awards.

We’re delighted that this year’s judging panel is not only stellar in its distinction, its members are comprised of local of local entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and agents of entrepreneurial development. This brilliant pairing of adjudicators are all long-standing champions of small business.

The 2018 judges are:

The judging panel will be a choosing the “Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year,” the “Small Business Advocate of the Year” and the “Distinguished Innovator of the Year” from a pool of 23 nominees.

The awards ceremony honoring all three award winners will take place at the Bonita Bay Club in Bonita Springs on Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Previous winners of the three awards include Norman Love of Norman Love Confections in 2012, Pam Oakes of Pam’s Motor City in 2013, Felix Lluberes of Position Logic in 2013, Gary K. Mart of Global Tech LED in 2015, Chris Spiro of Spiro and Associates in 2016 and Dr. Aurora Badia of Florida Skin Center in 2017.
