The Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is spearheading an initiative to help small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) get on the road to reopening and recovery.

We have expanded our capacity to assist you in your recovery efforts. Where do you need the most help: marketing, cybersecurity, human resources, exporting, accounting, and finance?  We’ve got you covered.

Each consultant has a wealth of experience and proven track record of successfully helping companies navigate change, adapt, and succeed in challenging times. Funded by CARES grants, the FGCU SBDC now offers more helping hands to assist SWFL businesses at no-cost.

FAQ’s

In order to qualify your business needs to meet the Small Business Administration’s size standard as a small-to-medium business. Generally speaking, companies under 500 employees qualify. All you have to do is request your no-cost, one-on-one consulting session with the Florida SBDC at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Your company must:
1)    Be a registered entity with the State of Florida
2)    Be in good standing with the Florida Department of Taxation and Florida EPA
3)    Be in active sales operation

The contractors have been hired starting August 1, 2020, running through September 30, 2021. Their services will remain available through then or until funding for their services are exhausted.
